Rhode Island Famous Del's Lemonade Now Available in SoCal

Venice Beach, CA - July 25, 2009 - Rhode Island's famous Del's Soft Frozen Lemonade is now available in Southern California at Del's LA, located at 701 Lincoln Boulevard, Venice Beach, California (Lincoln & Vernon). Retail operations will be open seven days a week, from 10am to 9pm. Made from a secret family recipe started in 1840 in Naples, Italy. Del's LA proprietor Michael Shippee, former Rhode Island native and current Santa Monica resident, calls Del's Lemonade one of Rhode Islands best-kept secrets. "Aside from my family and friends, Del's is one of the things I missed most about Rhode Island. Del's soft frozen lemonade is often compared with Italian ice, but it has a unique taste all its own, refreshing and thirst quenching as it slowly melts in its cup", says Shippee.
